X9 Laser Scanner

X9Stonex X9 is an extremely precise phase comparison laser scanner. Its incredible speed and ease of use allow to work efficiently and quickly. With a wavelength of 1.5 μm, Stonex X9 belongs to laser class 1 (EN 60825-1). The laser beam is thus rated as harmless. Due to the wavelength and new measuring systems, the device can operate up to a maximum range of 187.3 m. This wide range opens up new areas of application for the scanner

DESCRIPTION
With a maximum measurement rate of 1,016,027 points per second, Stonex® X9 is the fastest 3D laser scanner in the world. In combination with a very high measurement rate and seven different resolutions, four different quality levels can also be selected. Depending on the application or objective, the optimum scan configuration can be chosen. In this way, it is possible to have points very close together even at a great distance. The extended 320° x 360° field of view leads to coverage of the greatest possible scan areas.
Stonex X9 is lightweight (9.8 kg) and has a very compact size (170 x 286 x 395 mm). Stonex X9 distinguishes itself through having a high precision of angle and distance measurement. Also the low noise level on differing surfaces even at great distances, is responsible for the highest quality of data. An accuracy to within millimeters can be achieved even at the highest data capture rates. The laser beam is reflected by a rotating mirror which can reach speeds of up to 50 rev/sec. This mirror is enclosed in a patented body with protective glass. A high degree of quality, robustness and durability are guaranteed.

Key Features:

  • The touch screen display, with a recently developed menu system offers the user a great deal of information and useful features, that are easy and clear to use because of the intuitive operating concept.
  • The one-touch scan button only needs to be pressed twice to start the pre-defined standard scan quickly and efficiently. The entire start phase only takes one or two seconds.
  • The stand-alone principle has been improved upon even further.
  • The scan data can be stored onto two removable USB flash drives, as well as a flash card.
  • The color display enables the scan to be viewed with a zoom function and a simple measuring function.
  • This means that there is no need for an external computer to be connected to check the scanned data.

ARCHAEOLOGY
Stonex provides complete solutions in the fields of archaeology. Our systems are widely used in surveying, extraction and renovation of historical sites, artifacts, or landmarks both from sea or land like shipwrecks, tombs, fossils and structure.
Stonex complete system for archaeological surveying and site recording displays collected data with a direct interface to total station and GPS and features on-site CAD facility, on-site logging of small finds, on-site GIS as well as on-site dynamic contouring. Stonex solution for archaeology is compatible with AutoCAD and other CAD and GIS systems. Its use dramatically reduces the need for data digitalization.

CIVIL ENGINEERING AND MONITORING
Civil, Structural and Plant Engineering involves planning, design, construction and maintenance of roads, railways, airports, sea ports, tunnels, bridges, large buildings, water supplies, hydroelectric power development, sewage and so on.
Stonex range of instruments can be used in surveying, construction and maintenance of roads and highway. The gradual improvement of modern rail networks and the request for high-speed lines, require the most accurate and efficient surveying and monitoring equipment, and this is exactly what Stonex offers. Our instruments have already been used in important projects in Europe, China and Africa.
Leverage your surveying expertise and tools into real-time or periodic deformation monitoring of manmade (bridges, dams, buildings) and natural (volcanoes, landslides) structures. Stonex offers a complete hardwareand software system for engineering applications built on the industry-leading Stonex total stations, GNSS technology and field software you already know.

The demand for deformation monitoring is rapidly increasing to ensure the stability of aging infrastructure and structures impacted by nearby construction projects. With expensive construction and important natural phenomena including human lives at stake, it's critical that the technology and solutions you use are the best available in the industry today.
